The HAMMA RAPID 2.1 from HAMMA is used for the fully automatic, time-controlled and continuous maintenance of water-miscible cooling lubricants and process baths.

During the maintenance phase of your cooling lubricant, the RAPID removes unwanted floating foreign oils, lime soaps, and suspended solids. These contaminants, combined with insufficient oxygen, make cooling lubricants breeding grounds for bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi. This can lead to skin irritation, foaming, and unpleasant odors.

Furthermore, foreign oils, lime soaps, and suspended solids significantly impair manufacturing quality. The skimmer process causes these contaminants to adhere strongly to the belt and be removed.

Micro-aerators improve the quality of your cooling lubricant by introducing oxygen. The service life of cooling lubricants and process baths is significantly reduced by foreign contaminants and insufficient oxygen.

Anaerobic bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi form. The result is a foul-smelling and spoiled medium. Micro-aeration is based on the principle of flotation. The medium is enriched with oxygen, and at the same time, the buoyancy of oil and dirt particles is artificially increased by the attachment of very fine air bubbles.

Floating contaminants can be removed by our RAPID oil skimmer. The micro-aerator can be controlled as needed via a timer.
